This is the MOAT setting manual. Please follow the steps below.
*Oracle plans to terminate its MOAT products (EOL) and support on September 30, 2024.
Whether or not SmartNews Ads can be measured using MOAT will depend on the end of support from Oracle.
MOAT Setup Procedure
1Issue an ad account. Agency/advertiser asks MOAT to issue a measurement tag. The tag is necessary when requesting authorization from SmartNews.
2SmartNews will authorize MOAT tag settings.
Please apply viathe MOAT Authorization Request Form.
You will need to fill in the advertiser ID, so please open an advertiser account in advance.
3SmartNews will contact you after authorization is set. Please proceed with campaign settings and creative submission (see below for details on settings).
Notes
- This information is current as of September 2022. Please contact your MOAT Advertising Account Manager for details.
- If you have any questions about MOAT settings, please contact MOAT.
- Only one tag can be requested. Please note that authorization for multiple tags cannot be granted.
Admin Console Settings
1After granting authority on the SmartNews side, select the viewability setting tool from the campaign information input screen. Appears after the tool settings on the SmartNews side are completed. Please apply for setting request from MOAT request form.
2Select the following setting values according to the distribution creative.
For static image material: MOAT_SN_DISPLAY [client name]
Points to Note When Creating a Campaign
Use single-byte alphanumeric characters or single-byte numbers for the campaign name and creative name. Double-byte characters and katakana are displayed as blank spaces on the MOAT screen.
